Cash book, accounts, transfers and day close

The cash book shows every rupee in and out of each money account. Accounts can be cash (the galla), a bank, or a mobile wallet like JazzCash or Easypaisa.

Add money accounts

  1. Go to Settings → Lists → Cash & bank accounts and tap Add.
  2. Choose the type: Cash, Bank or Mobile wallet (for JazzCash or Easypaisa).
  3. Type a name (e.g. “Meezan Bank” or “JazzCash 0300…”), the account number if you want, and the Opening balance — the money in it now.
  4. Save.

Tips

  • To fix a balance later (bank charges, an old miscount), use Adjust balance — it's saved as a separate entry with your reason.

Read the cash book

Open Cash Book (phone: More → Money → Cash book). Choose the account and the dates. You see the Opening, money In, money Out and the Closing balance, and every entry. Use Show to see only payments, expenses, transfers or adjustments.

Move money between accounts

For example, cash deposited in the bank, or JazzCash money taken out as cash.

On the computer (website)

  1. In Cash Book, tap Transfer.
  2. Choose From and To, type the amount and a note, and save.

On the phone app

  1. Open More → Money → Move money.
  2. Choose from and to, type the amount and tap Move money.

Close the day

At night, count the cash in the galla and close the day. Any shortage or excess is recorded, so the book always matches the galla.

On the computer (website)

  1. In Cash Book, tap Close day.
  2. Count the cash in the drawer and type it in Cash counted.
  3. Add a note if there is a difference, and confirm.

On the phone app

  1. Open More → Money → Close the day.
  2. See what the book expects, type the Cash counted and tap Close the day.

Tips

  • After closing, that day's bills and payments are locked.
  • Shortage and excess show in the profit report.
  • Recent day closes shows expected, counted and the difference for each day.
