Quick selling: by amount, weighing scale, misc, hold, rate board and labels
Tools for a busy counter. They show when the matching parts are on in Settings → Business & features: Sell loose (by amount / scale), Daily rate board and Barcode labels.
Sell by amount (“Rs 50 ki bhindi”)
- Add the item to the bill.
- Under the line, type the amount in Sell by amount, e.g. 50.
- The quantity is worked out from the rate (Rs 50 at Rs 200 / kg = 0.25 kg). If the rate changes, the quantity follows.
- Typing a quantity yourself ends the amount mode for that line.
Weighing-scale labels
Scales print a 13-digit label that starts with 20–29 and carries the item's scale code (PLU) and the weight or the price.
On the computer (website)
- In Settings → Business & features, turn on Weighing scale labels, and set the start (e.g. 21), the PLU length and whether the label has the weight or the price — as your scale prints it.
- On each loose item, put its scale PLU code (e.g. 00042) as the item's barcode.
- Scan the label at the bill: the item comes with its weight (or the quantity for the printed price). Each label is its own line.
Misc line (no item needed)
- On the bill, tap Misc item.
- Type its price in the rate box. It doesn't touch stock.
Hold a bill
- With items on the bill, tap Hold bill — the counter is free for the next customer.
- Tap Held bills and pick the bill to bring it back. A bill on screen is held first, so nothing is lost.
Tips
- Held bills stay on this computer (or phone) for 7 days.
Daily rate board
- Open Rate board in the menu.
- Type today's rates; changed rows are marked. Tap Save rates.
- Tap Share today's rates to send the list on WhatsApp or copy it.
Tips
- Every change is kept in the audit log, so you can see what a rate was on any day.
Barcode labels
- Open Print labels from the Items menu, an item's menu or a purchase bill's menu (one label per piece bought).
- Set how many labels of each item, the label size (38×25, 50×25 mm or an A4 sheet of 24) and what to show.
- Items without a barcode: tap Give codes (the shop's own codes, like Z0000001).
- Tap Print.
