WhatsApp reminders and khata statements
Remind customers about their udhar in one tap, and send them their full khata so there is no argument about the balance.
Send a WhatsApp reminder
On the computer (website)
- Open the customer and tap WhatsApp reminder.
- WhatsApp opens with the message and the balance filled in. Tap send.
- To remind many customers, open Reports → Udhar (receivable) and tap Remind on each row.
On the phone app
- Open the customer in the Khata tab and tap WhatsApp.
- Or open More → Reports → Udhar (receivable) and use WhatsApp reminder on a row.
Tips
- Change the message in Settings → Bills & rules → WhatsApp reminder message. The customer's name, your shop's name and the balance are filled in by themselves.
Share a khata statement
On the computer (website)
- Open the customer and stay on the Khata tab. Choose the dates.
- Open Export and choose Statement (to print), Share PDF or Excel (CSV).
On the phone app
- Open the customer in the Khata tab.
- Tap Share statement (PDF), or choose dates in the khata and tap Share PDF or Excel (CSV).
- Pick WhatsApp (or any app) to send it.
Common problems
- The WhatsApp button is missing
- What to do: Add the customer's phone or WhatsApp number in their details.
