Common questions
Short answers to the questions shopkeepers ask most.
The internet is gone. Can I still sell?
Yes, on the phone app. Sales and cash payments are saved on the phone and sent when the internet is back. The website needs internet. See Selling without internet.
I made a wrong bill. What now?
Open the bill and tap Edit to correct it (a new corrected bill is saved), or Cancel bill to cancel it. Stock, khata and cash are fixed by themselves. See Returns, editing and cancelling.
I lost my phone.
Log in on a computer → Settings → My account → Log out everywhere. The owner can also remove the phone in Settings → Devices. Your data is safe on the server.
A salesman left the job.
Go to Settings → Staff and tap Disable next to them. They are logged out on every device. Their old bills stay in the records.
How do I give one customer a different price?
Open the customer → Special rates, or tick Save as this customer's rate on a bill. For a group of customers (e.g. all wholesalers), use a price list.
The customer paid only part of the bill.
Type what they paid in Received now. The rest goes to their khata as udhar. When they pay later, use Receive on their page.
I forgot my PIN.
Go to Settings → My account → Change PIN. It asks for your login password, not the old PIN.
I forgot my password.
Tap Forgot password? on the login page and use the code we email you. Staff can also ask the owner to reset it.
Can I use the computer and the phone together?
Yes. It is the same shop and the same data. The number of devices depends on your plan.
Can bill numbers continue from my paper bill book?
Yes. In Settings → Bills & rules → Bill numbers, set the Sale start number, e.g. 1501.
Can I print bills in Urdu?
Yes. In Settings → Bills & rules, choose the bill language Urdu or Both.
A customer's cheque bounced.
Open Cheques and mark it Bounced. The amount goes back on their khata by itself.
My subscription ended. Is my data gone?
No. The shop becomes read-only: you can see and download everything. Renew in Settings → Subscription to make bills again.
I sell both cartons and loose pieces.
Make Pcs the smallest unit and add Carton with its size (e.g. 24). Stock stays right whichever you sell. See Items, units and rates.
Where are the bills I made without internet?
On the phone: More → Unsynced bills. They are sent by themselves when the internet is back, or tap Sync now.
